Summary
In the article “From Student to Employee: A Difficult Transition”, Mina Alonso explains the problem about the adjustment for recent graduates from student to employee and gives some advice about that. He says that adjusting from school to workplace is difficult for many recent graduates. First, he points out that the future in the workplace is up in the air which is different from school. He also writes that recent graduates did not ready for think analytically in the workplace. Then Alonso says that on the job recent graduates should adjust in teamwork which is difficult for them. In conclusion, he tells students that they should do part time job or volunteer work during school time. In addition, he advises teacher to include more teamwork as part of class activities.

1. In my experience, many people in Beijing have affected by air pollution. It is because the air pollution in Beijing is serious. When I was live in Beijing, I had some breathing problem.
2. In my opinion, this is because many people do not notice the serious effects of pollution. Cities should give people more information about pollution and its effects. In addition, they also need some law to limit some activities which is not good for environment.
3. There are some advantages and disadvantages for both proposals. For the first one, the city will get a lot of money. It will help the city to clean up the river and make a parkland, which are good for local environment. However, the developer may build a factory on the land, which could emit a lot of pollutants. Sell it to an environmental group is good for the environment of the land. In general, they cannot pay enough many for the city to clean the river and build a parkland. In my opinion, the best way for is sell the land for the environmental group. The reason for this is that the group will take care of the land and pants more tree to help the city reduce the air pollution. The benefits of it are more important than the benefits of sell it to the developer.

1. In my experience, some people have affected because of air pollution. In Beijing, some people’s throat is not good because they live in an air pollution area.
2. The reason for this is some people don’t know how the importance of environment. Moreover, some people would imitate other people who do something unhelpful for environment. In my opinion, people care about money a lot, so government could make a strong law for protect environment. If somebody cannot allow this law, they will be fined for punishment.
3. I think, each selection have pros and cons. For the first selection, sell land to businesses developer for a lot of money. Although government will use this money to clean up the river and create parkland along the riverbank to make environment better. The developer also will use lots of resource to building. So they don’t protect environment a lot. In contrast, sell land to environmental group is better choice. Because environmental group wants to plant more trees and turn it into a nature reserve areas. Although the money is less than developer, they also could use this money to improve environment.

1. In my city, we produce coal. The air quality is bad. In past, many mine bosses earn sudden huge profits. They absolutely ignore the advantages of digging coal. It causes the coal powder is blowed in the sky. No matter it can make us will be dirty, the most important point it can affect our health. We will breath coal powder.
2. To be honest, the mine boss merely consider earning money, coal really help us to earn much money. So most of people are greedy, we ignore our air quality. In my opinion, the government should appeal everyone should protect our environment. They need to publish some policies about protecting environment. I believe government is most effective way to solve this problem.
3. For the first condition, the city want to sell this land to a developer who wants to build houses and businesses on it. City can get a lot of money. This money can help city to clean up fiver and create parkland along the riverbank. Nevertheless, if these developers will build some not environmental building, it will damage our environment. For the second condition, the city sell this land to an environmental group. Even if the city will get less money, it can protect our environment. The owner will plant more trees on it and turn it into a nature preserve ties hiking trails and camping areas. It is very good for our health. In my experience, I will chose second condition. This is because that people can live in this world because of oxygen. Oxygen come from air. If we can not breath pure oxygen, it may break our lung. We will die. So it is significant to construct a good environment. So I chose second condition.

1.Yes I knew some people had been affected by air pollution. Let me give you an example, in Beijing China, air pollution has biggest negative impact on people's health. Then, most people take a mask when they go outdoor due to air pollution affecting our breath problem and nose and throat problem.
2.In my opinion, maybe everyone thinks people have freedom of choice to do anything except illegal things and one person can't make a different. But I think the cities should persuade people and give them some clearly suggestion to reduce pollution. Everyone should be not allowed to throw trash wherever, we should pick up trash by the way at anytime, use recycling substances, don't waste non renewable resources etc.
3. There has been a hotly-debate issue that how to use a large piece of undeveloped land in my city. Some people agree that it should be sale for a lot money. The reasons for this is that some houses companies want to build houses and businesses on it. The large profit also would support the city to clean up the river, likewise now almost every family has a car, but it is very hard to park, therefore the land also might be created along parking. However, some people strongly disagree. For the following reasons, they want to sell it to an environmental group for less money. Because this group can plant more trees on and turn it into a nature preserve with hiking trails and camping areas. In my opinion, I agree that plant trees, not build houses. let me tell you why. Firstly environment pollution is biggest problem we need to face now, such as air pollution, water pollution and land pollution. That all more and more serious and have some negative impact on our health. In my experience, this is true because so many factories product many chemical substance such as wasted gas, that is a main SO2 resource and caused acid rain, it is very dangerous to environment, land and water. Furthermore, due to deforestation, the city often is attracted by wind and sand. Urban forest is good for define windy storm and purify the air. If we only want to earn a lot of money don't think about our environment problem, we will spend too much more money to deal with various environment pollution than how much we earn. In conclusion, without a doubt, planting tree is better than building houses on the large piece of undeveloped land in my city.

In the article "From Student to Employee: A Difficult Transition", author Mina Alonso gives some suggestions to many recent graduates who are not ready for today's workplace challenges. Specifically, the author says that there are some causes lead to they have difficulty adapting to life on job. Firstly, it is hard for students to follow with the constant changes on experience in workplace comparing with the clarify experience in school. Then, Alonso explains what some different experience between school and workplace. Next, the author says many students also aren't ready for thinking analytically and this question due to school's methods of instruction. In addition, Alonso says that the school should spend less time on testing and spend more time developing students social skills and how to solve the problems. For these reasons, Alonso points out many students have difficulty to deal with problems independently and contribute to a team in workplace. In conclusion, the author tells students to do an internship, volunteer part time, government work to get enough experience; focus on socializing skills such as writing and speaking. in addition, the author also advises teachers to organize more team works in class to train students.

1. Yes, I have been affected by air pollution before. In my experience, because of my sensitive nose, if there is too much toxic substance contained in the air, I will have running nose continuously. What’s more, air pollution not only affects nose or eyes but also organs inside our body, particularly lung. If where you live had terrible air quality, you might probably get cancer in the future.
2. Sometimes helping environment means we need to give up the comfort provided by technology. Let me give you an example that we use disposable paper cups for convenience but it will damage forest and produce more trash on earth. I personally think if everyone has a clear picture of the severe consequences caused by continuous pollution, people will control their action and take transition to reducing pollution.
3. A large of undeveloped land in my city is ready for sale, yet the city council is still working on discussing their decision who they should sell our land to, the developer or the environmental group. If we sell it to the developer, not only can we earn more money from it, but it also benefits economic development with new houses and businesses. In that case, I believe our city will be well-constructed and environmental-friendly with extra money to clean up the river and create parkland along the riverbank. On the contrary, if we sell our land to the environmental group, It will turn into a nature preserve with more trees on it. Although we will make less money from it, we won’t need to worry about the environmental circumstance there any more. We will also have more choices of outdoor activities as it will provide hiking trails and camping areas. In my opinion, It will be better if we sell our land to the developer. The reason for this is that we could improve the city’s environment with extra money. Then we could develop our city with less environmental harm. 1. In my hometown many people have affected by air pollution. The reason for this is there have lots of heavy industry factories, those factories produce too much waste gas and put it in air.
2. In my opinion, people do not realize the severity of the air pollution. Cities should make some advertising about the air pollution’s effects and give people more information about how does the air pollution effects us especially our children. Also our government should make some laws to limit the factories reduce producing waste gas.
3. There have some positives for both conditions about how to use a large piece of undeveloped land. On the one hand, some people think it should be for sell to make a lot of money. The reasons for this are our government needs to spend lots of money to make our city development better. Such as, build more public facilities and attract more business investment. 1.I knew so much people had been affected by air pollution.In my experience, this is true because the air pollution can cause many Respiratory diseases and many children have got asthma. In my city many children have got lead poisoning it is because the many Heavy Metal in air.
2.The reason for this is many people do not notice the serious effects of pollution and to go to protect environment need spend many time and money, most of people don't want do this. The people should learn more about effects of pollution.

For the fist condition, the city want to sell this land to developer who wants to build houses and factory. Such this city can get more money. Graduates said they tried to adjust their life from classroom to career but that makes them confuse. Lewis believe the experiences from school is different from the workplace. Graduates entering the workplace suddenly and the don’t prepare yet. Finally, they cannot adjust their teamwork well. 1. I had been effected by air pollution. Let me give you an example, I had cholinergic urticaria which is skin trouble that is not cured with medicine or surgery. I suffered from pain whenever I got warm. I'm sure that it's cause was air pollution because I'm not suffering from that after coming here.
2. In my opinion, people don't do more to help environment because they are not sure if the activities that they do can actually help environment or not. Also it is annoying to do something good for environment. Cities should give people financial benefit to the people who help environment.
3. Selling to a developer for a lot of money and selling to an environmental group both have advantages and disadvantages. Selling to a developer would make the city's environment worse than before. Houses and businesses would consequently make pollution. However the money from sale would allow city to clean up the river and create parkland around the riverbank. Selling to environmental group for less money would be good choice for city's environment. The only problem is receiving less money than selling to the developer. If I were the governor I would sell the land to the developer. The environmental group will make hiking trails and camping areas but this areas will eventually be dirty and fill with things that make pollution because it is in the city and many people will visit the place. It would be better to build houses and businesses if it will be polluted finally. Moreover, selling to developer will give enough money to improve city's environment.

1. I know my mother and I were affected by air pollution. Our city produces lots of coal and the air quality is really bad. So my mother and I have the rhinitis, our nose is not fluent every day.
2. In my experience, this is true because people thought the environment is improved by everybody’s self-control, rely on personal power is can to help the environment. Cities need to make more advertisement about the environment and make people realize the harm about the environment.
3. There are some advantage and disadvantage for these two kinds of idea. The first idea is selling it to a developer. It can get lots of money and use the money to clean up the river and build the parkland. But if the developer uses this area to build a chemical factory, the factory will pollute the river again, maybe worse than before. The second idea is to sell it to an environmental group and use this land to plant lots of trees and turn it into a nature preserve with hiking trails and camping areas. I prefer this idea because trees can clean up the water and air, and also improve the quality of the environment.

Summary
The article "From student to Employee: A difficult Transition" by Mina Alonso introduce difficulty when students make transition to full-time employee. Although students spent many years from school preparing for job, they may have difficulty on adopting their job. First, unlike the classes at school, in the workplace, everything change very often and they have to adapt quickly. Second, At school, students were asked to do works such as tests, homework, and projects independently but in the workplace, teamwork with their co-worker is essential. At the end, the author suggested several ways that young adults prepare better for the workplace. One was the internship and the other was make school activity contain more teamwork.

2.I think that people don't know about serious of environment problem effect. So they don't pay attention to environment. Many cities advertise why we should reduce pollution.
3.In my opinion, the two ideas have each pros and cons. In the first idea, it is good for rich people and government. Because rich people can make more benefit than buying a land and government get much more money than selling to an environmental group. But it will cause many trash, air pollution, dense population. In second idea, it can not be benefit for government. Because they can not get money as much as selling to rich people. But the environment will be very clean and fresh so many animal can live the land. so there are benefit and loss in each idea.
