To be honest, smoking outdoors is a problem. It always bothers me, because I do not want to smell it, and I know secondhand smoke is harmful. Sometimes, smoking outdoor could make others feel bad, for example, I walking on the road, face the big wind, someone smoking in front of me, then big smoke wind coming, which make me feel terrible. Also, smoking outdoor almost result in air pollution. In another word, if some people want to smoking outdoor, they could go to smoking place, which is ok.

On the whole, I agree with smoking increases the general air pollution. Although the smoking is a negligible element of air pollution, and the main factor is factory exhaust and automobile exhaust. It still is a problem of air pollution. As for make a law to banning outdoor smoking, I think it is useful to protect city’s environment.

1.As a non-smoker, I always find smoking annoying both indoors and outdoors. Smoking outdoors seems to have less negative influence in public, but if you walk after an ongoing smoker in the street, your experience will be quite terribly unforgettable. Some people may smoke in a pointed area. However, the smoke goes away and the smell is so strong that you still can feel it in distance. Since we have leant how serious secondhand smoke affect our health, for the sake of public’s good health, I personally suggest prohibiting smoking not only indoors but also outdoors. In this way, we can all enjoy the fresh air outside.

2.Smoking can increase the general air pollution in the city. It’s the kind of air pollution that exists very close to people’s daily life ,if it is allowed. Although smoking is not as well-known as the air pollution from vehicles or factories, it has direct effect on public health, like you will cough immediately you breath secondhand smoke. As is reported, more times you inhaled secondhand smoke, more easier you got cancer in your life. If we ban outdoor smoking, there will be less harmful gas near us and it definitely helps to improve the environment.

Basically, I think people can smoke outdoors. Some people can not abandon smoking. They have used to smoking. I do not think this is a problem. This is because that government ban people to smoke indoors, but they need cigaret. The government do not want these people who smoke to effect others who do not smoke. According to research, people breath secondhand smoke is unhealthier than smoking. Nevertheless, there are wiring it is bad for your health on the case of cigaret, sometimes they can not control themselves. Hence we need to give people who smoke a region to smoke. So, I think this is not a problem.

I do think so. This is because that In this world, there are six billion people, but according to research there are one billion and hundred million people smoke. There is no doubt that people breath secondhand smoke is unhealthier than smoking. Therefore, this secondhand smoke put out to air, it also bad for air. In my opinion, we should not ban outdoor smoking, because we can not ban people who smoke directly. They need to transition to adapt. I believe we need to recommend government to appeal people who smoke to reduce smoking. If these people follow policy, I think our city's environment will be batter than before.

    1. Smoking outdoors is not a big problem for people. I feel that smoking outdoors is regular. First of all, the unlimited area can help the smoke be dissipated recently. In addition, many people need an area for smoking. Smoking outdoors can limit the area of smoking and help people to improve the quality of air in children’s daily lives.
    2. I do not think that smoking is responsible for increasing air pollution. The effect of smoking is temporary. If the smoke which come from smoking can affects air quality, it have to be as much as the exhaust emission from factories. Banning outdoor smoking could not help a city's environment. The reason is that if smoker could not find an area for them to smoking, it might have some negative effects for city.

    1. I think smoking outdoors is not a big problem. The government made some laws to limit the people who smoking in the public places such as cinema, office, and campus. But it does not mean the outdoors also banned smoking. Some people would say, smoking outdoors is bad for other people’s health and easy t cause environment problems. However, compared with smoking indoors, smoking outdoors can reduce the dangers of secondhand smoke on others. As long as, the smokers do not throw cigarette butts disorderly, it would not cause problems to the environment.
    2. Base on my experience, there is no doubt that smoking does not increase the air pollution in a city or maybe just a small part of the responsibility for air pollution. According to my research, the results showed to us there are one billion smokers around the world, but just have a small impact on air pollution, because the air can purified, adsorb and decompose the harmful gas of smoking. As well as, if we want to improve our environment’s quality, at first our government should close those factories, which are illegal polluters.

1.I think that smoking outdoors is a big problem and it is not good for anyone. The first reason is smoking outdoors will influence others and it can cause
Secondhand smoke for others. Second reasons is I'm smokers and I dislike smoking outdoors because it is bother of rainy day or cold weather, the most important are I don't want influence others and I don't act like fool and don't want everyone know I'm smokers. The Third reasons are smoking outdoors bad for our environment, the cigarette can cause air pollution and fire disaster.

2.This is big mistake,The industrial emissions and domestic wastes are increases the general air pollution in a city, because the smokers are minority in a city and The amount of pollution less than others. But even so I also think should banning smoking outdoors, it is because smokers should not affect the health of others and easy cause fire. I think that every city should have Smoking room at roadside and everyone can smoking in their own home, also they should install an air purifier in home and give fire alarm.

    1. Basically, I think people smoking outdoors is fine. Because they smoked out of buildings and if people do not stand really close to smokers, they can’t breathe the “second-hand smoking”. In my opinion, people smoking outdoor is not a problem. They smoking outdoor and escape most people who don’t smoke, also in outside, air easily flow than inside so they smoking outdoor and the air take the smoke away. The trees can clean those smoke.

    2. In my opinion, smoking is not the main factor to increases the general air pollution in a city. Because the city has lots of people, somebody smoke but somebody not, but almost every family has least one car, they drive every single day and the car increases the air pollution. There also have lots of factories around the city, that also a big factor can increase the air pollution. Banning outdoor smoking would not help a city’s environment, because it can increase people smoking indoor, and makes more people breathe “second-hand smoke’. If they set smoking area, people can smoke in the building, is good for everyone.

    1. I believe that smoking outdoor is not a serious problem for both pollution and individuals. People smoking outdoor is not main cause to effect air pollution, in contrast, too many factories have had big negative influences. Then, in many countries there are some smoking areas, also some public areas had banned smoking such as park, children playground and campus. In addition, we also know that secondhand smoking is bad for non-smokers, so we can keep far away when we see someone is smoking, this is our own decision whether stay with smokers in the same area.

    2. As I answered the first question, I don't think smoking is a big problem for increasing air pollution. Then more and more "No Smoking" laws in public areas, we have limited it and been keeping it. However I think too many factories have bad effect to the air pollution. The government should reduce the amount of factories or factories working days, such as changing five working days into four days. Because factories are producing too much smoking, white trash and bad chemical stuff everyday, that all can impact our environment. Equally important, if we would have banned outdoor smoking, smokers would have no places to smoke, that will cause other problems.

I don't really feel bad about people smoking outdoor. I think smoking outdoor is not a big problem. It's because I think smoking outdoor is much better than smoking inside the building. In my experience, there are usually distance between smoker and other peoples. As well, smokers usually don't smoke near someone who is non-smoker. They usually look for place that is apart from main road people walk. So there is no worry about second hand smoking.

I can't deny that smoking pollute air. About 1.1 billion people are smoker and we cannot ignore the amount of cigarette they smoke. I think banning outdoor smoking will never help a city's environment. People will still smoke indoor if outdoor smoking is banned. So the total amount of cigarette use would not decrease. I think it is much more effective to use the time and effort in other way rather than banning outdoor smoking.

1.I hate smoking indoors but I never hate smooking outdoor. Smoking is originally big problem but outdoor smoking is not big problem. Because outdoor is too huge place to make people harm with cigarettes. So smoking outdoor is not big problem.
2.Smoking also increases the air pollution typically in city. Because cigarettes have tar ingredients(it makes people unhealthy and also makes air pollution. Although we ban the smoking outside, air pollution will be decreased a little. But banning smoking is also good way for city's environment.
