EAP- Re-write your lecture summary paragraph from yesterday including reported speech grammar & vocabulary from today's class. Also add an extra paragraph summary of your classmates' responses to the question from today.

    Yesterday, professor’s topic was the change of gender spending. The lecture explained that traditional women’s role was take care of home and children which made them more focus on daily needs. The professor described that traditional men’s role was more about fix things that made them more focus on future as prefer to buy big ticket items. Then, professor argued that the roles of genders was changed, it made women focus more on long term items like cars. The report that professor showed suggested that women now was the people who control their house. Professor highlighted that this trend let business become female friendly such as Jiffy Lub did some things to made women customers feel comfortable.
    Today we had a discussion about this lecture, I and my partner made a question. We wanted to know whether our classmates thought marketers needed to use different marketing strategies for men and women. Serene stated that genders had different shopping styles and habits. As well as Serene’s opinion, Wei observed that men and women had different ways to spend money and focus on different things. In addition, Danny explained that more and more women earned money by themselves, so they could buy big ticket items. Meanwhile, Linda added that men were focus on the products’ function while women were focus on the products’ look. Cliff also commented that men and women focused on different parts of things. To sum up, they all agreed that marketers needed to use different marketing strategies for genders.

    Last class, the professor gave us a lecture. She said that women's purchasing habits had been changed. At fist, she explained how information traditional spending and responsibility in genders and compared with each others. The professor provided the evidence which women were responsible for buying family needs, but men usually bought big ticket items and value stuffs. Then she gave a description of two reasons for the changes in women's shopping habits now, also gave a piece of date which 27% single women were running the house. Next the professor stated that the female economy had started to improve and she mentioned lots of companies had started to put efforts to attract female consumers.
    After lecture, we've discussed some questions. My partner and I wondered if our classmates were marketing managers, how they would increase the appeal of a computer store to women and a home decoration for men. According to our research, everybody stressed the importance of offering a relaxed and comfortable environment for women, and good products function was significant for men.

    Yesterday, the topic were talking about men and what change of women spending. The professor stated that traditionally women just take care of family and focus on daily needs. The lecture explained that traditionally men's job is fixing and they have big ticket items such as buying cars, TVs and economic equipment. The professor added that now, women can control finance and they also have big ticket items like men because they earn money by themselves. The lecture showed that women change into new customers that pay for the big ticket and businessman are friendly to women for instance Jiffy Lub support comfortable chair and waiting room.
    Today, we wondered, if our classmates were a marketing manager, how they would increase the appeal of a computer store to women and a home decoration store to men. Serence suggested that companies should build comfortable waiting room with suitable chairs and add some computer in striations for women and make a discount for men. Corrine's statement is smilier with Serence's for women and she stated that companies could create more interesting or DIY products for men. Tico advanced that all products should be active. Linda mentioned a piece of advance for companies to offer some dessert, fruits and coffee in waiting room for women and we should play some exciting music for men. Danny stated that a relaxed and comfortable environment was important to women and the companies sell a lot of electronic products for men. According to these suggestions, comfortable environment is important for women and good products function is significant for men.

    Yesterday, I heard a lecture from my professor, the topic is the change of gender spending their money. Firstly, the professor stated that according to tradition, women were in charge of buying daily food, shoes, clothes and daily needs for their families. He also mentioned that men took responsibility for buying cars, TVs and electronic equipments. Moreover, the professor emphasized that these big change were most of women were signal women and they made purchasing decision by themselves. As a result, women were able to control their own finances and began to buy high selling price products, like real estate, washing machines, cars and other items. Finally, the professor illustrated that businesses were trying to made things comfortable, attractive and new products. He remarked that the new business trend of female economy and took the Jiffy Lub as an example. He explained that the company improved extra service when women consumers are having their car fixed.
    Today, after the lecture I and my parter wanted to know wether our classmates needed to use different marketing strategies for men and women. To begin with, Serene stated that gender had different shopping styles and habits, therefore she agree with this statement. As well as Serene’s opinion, Wei observed that men and women had different ways to spend money and focus on different things. In addition, Denny explained that more and more women earned money by themselves, so they could buy big ticket items. Linda added that men were focus on the products’ function, while women were focus on products’ look. Moreover, Cliff commented that men and women focused on different parts of things.     Yesterday, the business curriculum, professor demonstrated a lecture which referred to gender difference in spending. At the beginning, the professor pinpointed traditional women’s role had duties to take care of their family; therefore, they would focus on daily merchandise, such as food, shoes and clothes. On the other hand, in general, since traditional men’s role had to take responsibilities for fixing stuff, men preferred to pay attention on big ticket items, those products had long-term value but more expensive, like cars, electronic equipment. However, the professor stated the changing in women’s purchasing behavior as well as in the target customers in business strategies. Thanks to plenty of single women led households, also numerous females started to work outside and had their own money, women play a significant role in household purchasing nowadays. In addition, companies’ business strategies became more and more female friendly; for instance, Jiffy Lube spent a lot money on promoting abound of services to attract female consumers.

    In order to learn more relevant ideas, Jace and I developed one question to post to our classmate. We wondered what our classmate found important or interesting in this lecture. First, Danny pointed out that business strategies had become female friendly; moreover, Cliff and Lind supported his opinion by presenting data about the high percentage a households led by single women, also most of women beginning to control family’s finance. In addition, Corrine added that companies should promote more female friendly services or products. Lastly, Serene provided an example of female economy where Jiffy Lube spent 8 million dollars to appeal to women. Obviously, most of classmates tended to emphasis how important women were in consumer market.

    Yesterday, the lecture was talk about gender spending money and changes. First of all, the professor added that men and women have different ways to spend money, the women usually focus on now and created lifestyle, so the usually buy baby tools, foods, and clothes. But the man is focus on future , the spend money to buy the car, electronic products. Then professor explained that what changes about women spending and give us lots of percentage to proved these changes. Finally, professor points out women became a largest part of consumer in electronic market, after that some companies made much more suitable service to them, also the professor gave us a example , the Jitty lub company.
    Today, after the lecture we asked our classmate if they thought what the professor pointed out about more and more women making big ticket purchases was true, and if they had seen evidence. CLIFF agree with the professor and he observes, many of his female friends liked to buy electronic products. IAN's claim was similar to CLIFF and he noted he has seen many women changed they spending habits. Then SERENE explained why women changed their spending habits. She stated that most of women were able to control their own money now and they began to buy high selling price products. She also had a female friend who was bought a car and some electronic products. Next, CORRINE points out that more and more women lived by them self and the always did every household matters without man's help. Eventually, WEI highlights how the women become a larger part of consumer in electronic products market due to change in their spending habits . Actually, most of us thought the market need to make different sale plans to gender.

    In this lecture, today our topic is women’s changing in purchasing habit. The profess advances that traditional men and women responsibility and spending. For example traditional women take care their family and spending money to prepare foods, and traditional men more focus on the future. Next, the professor gave a description of the change about women. Because single women are increase, so women work outside home and they have their own money, than they buy household purchasing. Eventually, business strategy more focus on women customer, for example, Jiffy Lub spend lots of money to attract women customer.
    We had a discussion today and my partner and I asked our classmates if they thought what the professor pointed out more and more women making big ticket purchases was true and if they had seen evidence.     Yesterday teacher said traditional responsibilities for women and man. She remarked that women needed by somethings food and more keeping family health;about man was need finish somethings,like a window broken he needed by a new it. The teacher explained that changed to traditional roles and spending,women thought about now and men thought about future.The men spent money in big tacik idons.like car and TV.Last teacher added that meaning for business and marking to women.Had 70% women outside home earn money and many data for this.
