This article is about the advertisements which we did not notice every day. Author noted his experience of yesterday. He saw four different kinds of advertisements that he had never noticed before. These were a radio station ad on a coffee cup, an insurance ad on the bench, a bicycle ad on an electronic sign in a college bookstore and a new sports car ad on ATM in college. Finally, author introduce the traditional ads and high-tech ads, in addition, he had a question of the ads which are not cost-effective.
I discussed with my classmates after read this article. Many of my classmates told me they see more than 20 ads every day. In addition, the most kind of ads they see is website ads. Linda and Serene observed that they thought many ads are not cost-effective. Linda added that some ads are fake and Serene supported many of ads is in wrong place. However, Corrine and Danny disagreed with them, they thought many of ads can introduce the products attract people to buy them. All of my classmates stressed that they like high-tech ads because it is cool and convince. They suggest that high-tech ads can help companies to promote their products.

The article is talking about the hiding advertisements in our daily life. The author could not realize how many advertisements can see around us every day but never notice. He saw four kinds of advertise during the whole day. Some of them are traditional advertisements, like cup advertisement in the cafe; some of them are modern advertisements, like car advertisement of high-tech on the ATM’s screen. Modern advertisements are using advanced technology to grasp people’s attention, the author has some questions on whether these modern advertisements are useful or not.
After I read this article, I did an interview on my classmates. Most of my classmates think the advertisements were necessary for us, because advertisements can give us information and direction about new product. Linda explained that modern advertisements were interesting and easy to understand. However, Cliff illustrated those modern advertisements of high-tech wasted company’s money. Most of my classmates said they could see more than twenty advertisements in a day, but most of them would ignore these advertisements. Moreover, Corrine added that modern advertisements were better than traditional advertisements, because modern advertisements were cool and caught people’s eyes. In all, the majority of my classmates were preferred to modern advertisements than traditional advertisements.
The article focuses on the topic of many advertisements in daily life but we never notice. The author talks about his experience in one day which he saw at least four ads such as the cup advertised the cafe, the bench for insurance company, the cool bicycle on Campus and a commercial for sports car in ATM. After all, the author goes on with traditional ads and modern high-tech commercial at the same time raising a question of the advertisements cost effect work or not?
ReplyDeleteIn the class I did a survey from my classmates about ads in our daily life. I gave five survey questions to my five classmates. The questions are about the impact of ads, the opinions of traditional ads comparing with modern high-tench ads, the special ads which only advertise company instead of products, and the hidden ads. Many people think the ads are useless, because the ads always exaggerate the function of products, therefore they choose to ignore the ads in daily life. In the positive said, everybody likes high-tech commercial due to some ads are interesting and gave some useful information.Furthermore, the 90% people can accept hidden ads of course its fantastic feature but most people think companies also need supports.

The article were mainly talking about in the daily life, some advertisements that we never noticed it. Then the author took his experience as an example. He noticed ad of cafe cup, there was his favorite station. On the bench, there was ad about insurance company. He went into the college bookstore, he saw the there was an ad of new sports cars on the ATM. In the end of article, he explained the traditional advertisements and high-tech advertisements in our life. Hence, he came up with ads can increase sales?
Today, I surveyed my classmates' ads of view. I found that most of them see the ads on Tv shows or websites like Tico, Cliff and Wei. I asked them How many ads do you see every day. I got that they saw ads more that 50. Then, I asked have you bought products after seeing the ads. All of people said yes. According to this point, ads are not really boring and make people angry. So, my last question is are you angry when you watch the TV shows, there will be many ads? Most of people said yes. Except Cliif, he said no because he used to seeing the ads, when he watch TV shows. Others think ads disturb them.

The article was about the advertisement in daily life which we do not notice. Author gave an example that he saw. He saw ads on coffee cups, on bench, in bookstore, and on the ATM's screen. He is curious about the ads on the ATM is really cost effective.
I made a survey about what I read in the class. I asked my class mates how many products do they buy because of the ads in a year. The highest was 50. I also asked them do they think ads are necessary or not. Wei and Danny who buys the most products after watching ads said that the ads are not necessary because they can get information from anywhere else not only from ads. In conclusion I think ads are not necessary because people who buy many products are not affected from ads.
