In my opinion, I think there are real different ideas about hiring/leading close friends in business between China and the US. Firstly, China is traditionally a society closely knitted by human relations net, far from a society built upon contract system like the Western countries. Secondly, If your close friend leading you, you would get more benefits. Such as you would have more chance to get promotion than other staffs. Lastly, Chinese people like to talk about their business during dinner time. You could have chance to talk about daily work with your close friend who was leading you. It means you could influence him more than other staffs. But it wouldn't happen in the US. In the US, people don't like to talk about work after working time. It means work is work, life is life.

  3. In my opinion, I think it is totally different hiring friends in business between China and America. Considering about my own working experience, I think with the help of our friends it is much easier for us to get a higher salary and position in company. Before I came to U.S., I worked in a medicine company, my boss is my parent’s friend and we also have a good relationship. Thus, I worked in a good environment, such as I could enjoy the air conditioner in summer. Although I never worked in America, I don’t think I will receive such a welfare as a fresh man in any company.

  4. I believe hiring close friend in business more possible in USA than in Xinjiang. American have higher education than Uyghurs, so they may easily understand the differences between personal relationship with work. However, for us is really hard to command friend to do something, if the interviewee is older than you is more difficult to be their leader too. Therefore, people have higher education can separate the work time and personal time, in USA hiring the close friend in business will much more possible than in XinJiang.

  6. Of course there exists difference regarding to hiring close friends in business between china and America, especially in culture and law even though it might have some sameness.
First, we usually will not reject a close friend when he is in a bad situation, which leads him to be a partner with our business or play a manager role in our company. This phenomenon was caused by the definition of friendship. You may have touched that feeling if you have been living in north of china for a while. Once we decided to allow our close friends to work with us, we seldom will take his professionalism as the first factor. The reason is simply, just because he is my best friend and he needs my help while I am really have that ability to do something for him. I believe that it is the culture and growing environment which influence most of people possessed this kind of personality. But, if it happened in New York City, your friend may help you but in another way. They rather lend some money to you to give you a chance to rebuild your career. Or pay you higher but need you do more. All in all, the possibility of getting a higher paid without making efforts nearly equals zero.
Second, the law system in mainland of china is not that well-established. So hiring close friends can avoid themselves from lawsuits, which frequently happened between employers with employee. Most of time, their arguments related to welfare and salary, insurance either. A close friend might not care these too much, or can make a deal in private even the case itself is illegal.
All these problems happened most in a developing company or a personal company.
Management rules and legal sense become less important here. However, you will be reported by others and sent into the jail if same case happened in U.S.A, such as creating fake contracts. Meanwhile, it will broke your credit. Thanks to these limitations and laws, we can their rights to work and live in a fair and legal society.
Therefore, that is why I believe that there has difference btw China and U.S.A about hiring/leading close friends in business.

  7. I think yes there are differences about hiring/leading close friends in business between my country and the U.S because as far as I know in the U.S they don't prefer to hire a close friend or a family member in business but in Turkey that is actually what many people want to do because they want to build a family business and when it comes to close friend I guess they hire them because of the relationship they are in.

  8. Of course I think there are big differences between US and my country. First, as I know American people do not usually hire their friends as their workers. Because they do not want to show their favoritism. However, in China, people would rather use the people or friends as their workers. Because, first, they know this person well, so that is means they do not need extra time to find a perfect person. Second, it is really hard to find a job in China, if your friend want to give you a job, that's definitely become a big help. Also, in china we really focus on relationships, so we like use people that we are familiar with.

  9. In Taiwan, people really attach importance to relationship. In general, majority of people think friends should help each other as possible as you can. Therefore, normally, in Taiwanese opinion, if we have abilities to provide a good position, we will try to hire our close friends. In fact, it seems to me that in Taiwan, it is more possible to hire our close friends in business than US. Similarly, people anticipate our friends will do us a favor as they have better career developing. In traditional society, people think if you have relationship with your leader (boss), it will be helpful to your promotion in the future. Consequently, due to the significances of relationship in Taiwanese opinion, it is more common to hire or lead our close friends in business than American do.

Comparing US to Korea, Korea has quite a difference. While US thinks with more of dignity and moral idea Korea pretty much think only about self benefit. If a boss hire a employee which is friend of him in Korea. That basically means that the empleyee is good friend of him and he is giving him a chance or a advantage. Usually, the boss enjoys that situation, because he feels like he is on higher place than any other guys. On the other hand, US take the job seriously. They think taking a advatnage from his friend or showing of, is something that is morally wrong.

  11. In my opinion, there are difference about hiring close friends and family between America and Korea. In Korea, many people hiring people who close with people who are employer. For example, when employer hire people, they see people’s essay. In essay, there are some information about people who apply the job. If people born in same area or graduated same school, employer hire this people even though their ability is not so good compare with other people. However, In America, people didn’t hire their close friends or family because, they think that it is not fair.

  12. I think there are some differences hiring/leading friends between Korea and the U.S. In Korea, If close friend who leads company, it is easier to promote or get a job than other co-workers. I’ve seen that big companies’ director or CEO have hired their friends and made them in good condition such as in a high position in the company. Also, Koreans prefer to hire people who graduated their high school which is they also graduated. However, In U.S, I think people can separate between work and daily life. They treat their friends as co-workers. Thus, I think there are some different ideas hiring/leading friends between Korea and the U.S.

  13. Answer: I think there’re some similarities and some differences upon this issue in my hometown and the USA. I believe the similarities appear in the modern businesses both in these regions. For example in the USA business owners are not likely to hire their close friends as their employees. Because they don’t want to ruin their friendship by making order all the time, in other word being a “big boss”. I’m sure things are going the same in the modern companies in my hometown. However according to the cultural phenomenon, some individual business owners prefer to hire their close friends and relatives as their workers. Because the Islam suggests that people should help and support close relatives and friends first when they have enough conditions do to so. Therefore those individual business owners who are more religious usually hire someone that they consider have good relationship with each other and treat them nicely in an attempt to get good deeds.
