In my opinion, I think Beatrice has good qualities such as diligent, affirmative and studious. For example, Beatrice continued to be an excellent student and won a scholarship to high school. Beatrice knew that was precious for her to study in school. So she worked hard and try to reduce the burden of hey family. After reading this article I think I have reason to be optimistic. Because, I have much better material base than Beatrice.
In 2014, when I studied in BISU, my teacher changed my mind about study abroad. She told me her experiences：“However, the purpose of our studying abroad is for the realization of our ambitions." And then I made this decision to study abroad. In addition , she told me that: "When you're studying abroad, you ought to learn as much as you can about the language and the culture in which you're operating." So I made a plan to improved my English learning skills.

1. I think Beatrice has many qualities that have helped her success. In my opinion, the most important quality is perseverance. When she first came to school, she was older than other students. However, she never gave studying hard. That the reason why she could breezed through the early grades as an excellent student. And then, I think she is also optimism that have helped her to overcome the challenge of her aboard study.
2. Yes, I has known a story about this. Jeremy Lin is a popular basketball player in NBA, but before 2012 no one known him. At the year 2012, when the basket team New York Knicks’ starting point guard had been injured, Jeremy Lin received help by his coach. He had being the starting point guard for 7 games. Received this help, Jeremy Lin became a popular player in NBA.

ReplyDeleteI believe her spirit of attend school and her thirst of knowledge were aid her to be success. Keep learning is a hard process, that’s why not everyone do it. Usually we people can try to escape the hard and boring life like stop studying and start their money-making life. But she is different, even though too hard to her study continually, but she never give up. Society and her parent were touch by her thirst of knowledge, so try their best to help her. Additionally, in Quran God also said I will help the people who love the knowledges, maybe she also touch the God. Therefore, the goat that charity organization gave it to them, it gave a birth so soon, the more luck things was it birthed two baby goats. Normally goat and sheep give birth to only one. Maybe they also gifts from God.

My friend’s family has a famous beverage company in Urumqi. When I asked him how his father started his business, his answer was out of my expected. He said his parents were very poor at first, they even have no money took her mother to hospital when her mother was pregnant. So his grandfather give his father some money for help, but his father felt so ashamed about in. And started to work hard, his parents tried their best to save money, after 10 years they opened a small shop. With time goes by their small business became bigger and bigger. Eventually, they built their company and it became a large-scale family-owned company in XinJiang.

ReplyDeleteQuestion 2:Yes,my bestie has received.When we were students in junior high school,she had fallen into love,the many teachers and her parents were angry to criticize her ,resulting in her escape from school.But our geography teacher Miss Zuo gave her "the first rule "to encourage that didn't mind other's words and study hard to be successful to fight back others. She did it ,and now she becomes an excellent business lady.
1. Beatrice's most important qualities is insistence and diligence. She believes she can do what she wants to do. In this article, the author said she quite enjoyed learning. But she was in the poor family, she had to earn money by herself. So she sold the additional goat milk to go school. Not only can she help herself to go to school, but also she can help her family to get healthier. She was a touch girl.
ReplyDelete2. I have come to the USA for almost a month. Obviously, I had some difficulties to talk with others. I can't adjust to the daily life. Now, I have changed a lot due to the help from Lauren. I can chat with other foreigners in English and hang out with them sometimes. I feel I am positive and confident. I still need to improve myself in the later life. Thanks for her help a lot.

She worked hard in her school so that she could through the early grades as the excellent student in her school. Beatrice also won a scholarship to her high school. In addition, I think she has a strong will. In the passage, she was born in a poor village and older than her classmate in school. However, she didn’t confuse or complain about that, which prove that she has a strong will to make her focus on her studying.
ReplyDeleteI received a small amount of help that had big, positive results when I came to Oswego. I planed to go shopping to buy some bathroom staff and I didn’t get a bus ticket on my student ID card. When I got on a bus, the bus driver told me I should pay one dollar without a bus ticket. Unfortunately, I only took my room key, student ID card and a credit card so that I couldn’t pay for a bud ride. However, the bus driver allowed me to get on the bus and reminded me to get a bus ticket in order to take a bus for free next time. This small amount of help changed my life in Oswego. As an oversea student, without friends and family, I was helplessness, lonely. After received help from that bus driver, I realized that there are many good people in my life. Then, I began to trust others and make some friends, which makes my life better than before gradually.
I think there are some qualities she had such as study hard, for example she won a scholarship in college. Another example, she came from one of the poorest villages in the world was now a college graduate. She hardworking and helping other. For example she born in a poor village, when she becomes successful and she tries to help her countryman. She was self-sufficient. She have a special skill, which was raised up the goats and earned money to get an education.

He asked a lot of people to invest his company, but only one person give him fund to create the product. Finally, his company became successful and most famous in the world. And now, Apple is changed the world.
- I think, she is smart. The fact that she has something that is into learning inside her have helped her be successful. She is also hardworking and the person who makes good decisions. It seems like she is ambitious. Even though she was not lucky at the beginning she became luckier and good things followed her in order to change her life.
ReplyDelete- I don't have an exact answer for this question but my father's best friend, our family friend, helps some poor students have a good education. That is because he is a business man he know many people. Poor and rich, both of them. So he know who he should help and he does it. I am not sure if it is a big amount of money, However, because it is education sometimes it may be a big amount of money. Sometimes he helps some poor people by giving them smaller amount of money as far as I know. But we can imagine how much happy he makes them by helping them. He maybe saves their lives.

Yep, one of my teacher in middle college ,named Fang , keeping donate clothes and books to poor children who living in YunNan province directly every year. After collected books and clothes from her daughter and wrote a letter with some encourage sentence or her latest contact information,she mailed them from post office. But just get some reply sometimes. Till a hot summer afternoon,a strange face enter into our view, we realized that is the guy she donated for 7years. His name is Liang and he is taking his undergraduate course in Tsing hua University. We all moved by Fang's done during 7 yrs.Those books and clothes were not paid by highly price but helped a poor guy get away from poor entirely life. Fang's insistence also deserve most of us to learn.
When it comes to Beatrice’s success, it should own it to her perseverance optimism. ReplyDeleteIn her story, I learned that never gave up on hope, and never stop desiring knowledge. She is a strong, considerate, kind girl. Although her family was very poor, she never stopped trying. At the beginning she couldn't see the goat's benefits, but she still believed good things will happen, and when she went to school, she was older than others, that made her more stronger before. And when she went to college, she chose the one gave her scholarship and finished her college, I think it made her really considerate, because she could really on family or goat's help, but this time she decided to rely on herself. She is a really nice girl.

Yes. When I was in university, the government gave special scholarships to the students from Xinjiang. I really appreciated that because in somehow it inspired me and helped me to studied more harder. Maybe It's not that big amount money, but it gave us confidence and happiness, it is good to receive money from other, and you can spend the money for the things you want to buy. And it also means beside my family, there is someone cares about me as well. When I was studied alone in the other city, it gave me hope and warm.
